Is there a way to disable People in Apple Photo 7.0?

Sorry, not sure what you're talking about there. Off the top of my head both Mylio and Lightroom far exceed the capabilities of Photos and both have "proven to have a solid support team". And that's just two.

I do hate to be a bother but can insignificant be defined?

I ask because of all the data files kept on my hard drive the vast majority goes to the application Photos.

Meanwhile, the majority of data files on my laptop are Numbers, Notes and Pages with zero images. One-Hundred percent text driven datum.

I get a picture takes up more space than text, but how much more is being taken up by the Photo database files being duplicated?

Is there a concrete way to determine the amount?

Thanks and obviously you are going to get The Bravo Award :)

There are many excellent. high quality applications that are not available on the App Store. Adobe, world leaders in imaging software, make Lightroom:

It's a far more powerful application than Photos, and includes the ability to disable the faces feature.

Mylio is made by a more recent start-up but it's been around 7 or eight years now.
