Photos from iPhone to macbbok

when I add a new photo on my iPhone it does not transfer to MacBook I have my iPhone setting on to transfer photos to my MacBook

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.5

To trasnfer automatically you have to use either iCloud or Photostream.


Both your phone and mac have to be using the same apple ID, and the settings need to be correct on both.

To use iCloud, you need a plan large enough for your entire library.
