I just a new MacBookPro with the M2 chip. Does this mean I cannot connect an external monitor and my power point display device (ViewSonic) at the same time? This was possible with my old MacBookPro.

Here are the specs for the M2 Macs: MacBook Air with M2 chip - Tech Specs - Apple

"Simultaneously supports full native resolution on the built-in display at 1 billion colors and:

  • One external display with up to 6K resolution at 60Hz"
