Phone says no service and says there is an error with mobile data needs an update and when you try and update it says your phone is up to date

Phone says no service and under mobile data it’s says update and when you do it says your phone is up to date

it's not talking about an iOS update..

Manually update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
