if i delete photos on my phone will they be deleted from my icloud as well?

If you use iCloud Photos on your device it will sync everything with iCloud. So, any picture you add or delete will also sync so that new pictures are added and deleted pictures are moved to the "trash."

Deletion of Downloaded Photos:

If these are downloaded, then no. They will remain in iCloud, as long as Photos is enables in iCloud.

Enabling Photos on iPhone:

1. Click: Settings
2. Tap: your name (top item)
3. Tap: iCloud
4. Tap: Photos (so that it is green)
