You may need to check that you are signed in to your Apple ID on your Mac or device:

Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support


As you have changed your Apple ID password you might need to update your sign-in information with any Apple services that you're using. The support page below can help in this situation:

Troubleshooting FaceTime:

Try working your way through Apple's tips, even if you have tried some of them before.


For iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:

Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch – Apple Support


Make sure that you’re connected to a cellular data or Wi-Fi network. 

If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support


For Mac:

Use FaceTime on Mac - Apple Support


FaceTime calls over Wi-Fi require a broadband connection.

If FaceTime isn't working on your Mac - Apple Support
