My swipe down isn’t working

I’m currently on an iPhone X and my swipe down on the right side is not working. It’s meant to show the control center where I can adjust brightness, sound, and others. I’ve tried force restarting my iPhone but it doesn’t help. The only way I can access it right now is by playing a YouTube video, enlarge It to landscape mode and pull down from the right. If my phone is on portrait mode, nothing will work when pulling down the top right corner of my phone. Any suggestions?

If your screen is too sensitive or responds intermittently to touch:


  1. Restart your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Make sure that your screen is clean and free of any debris or water.
  3. Disconnect any Lightning or USB-C accessories. If your screen works after removing an accessory, try using a different outlet, cable, or charger.
  4. Remove any cases or screen protectors.


If part of your screen doesn't respond, responds intermittently, or responds even when it's not touched, I recommend service.
