It is not locked to my carrier; I’m just another user like you. It is also not locked to Apple’s carrier; Apple doesn’t have any carriers. If it is locked to a carrier you must ask that carrier to unlock it. That is the only way you can use the phone. See→How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier - Apple Support
