trying to access my Gmail on old iPad mini which I haven't used for several months, get AUTHORIZATION ERROR 403 disallowed_useragent "this app doesn't comply with Google's secure browsers policy". My iOS version is 9.3.5

It’s possible your iPad can’t load a newer version of iOS and for security reasons google won’t allow it to connect.

see if any iOS updates are available, see if you can download chrome.
