My mom’s number connected to my apple ID

So I found this question on this site: “Okay so my Apple I.D. is somehow connected to my mom’s phone number??? I took myself off the family plan and they’re still connected to each other. For example, my Apple I.D. photo is her contact photo in my phone??? Whenever i try to change one, they both change to be the same photo. And when someone airdrops me something, the name that pops up is “Mother” (which is her contact name in my phone). My name doesn’t pop up, her contact name does. My mom and I have no clue why my phone does this so does anyone know???” I had the exact same problem!! So after a little more research, it turns out that the only thing I needed to do was change “my” number to my actual number. It worked and I am soooo relieved so I decided to let you guys know just in case you had the same problem.
