is it possible to trade in my ipad for a new? i’ve had this ipad for over years, and i finally want to buy a new one just wondering if me trading it is a good thing since it’s from one of the old generations

I'm not sure if it still has any trade-in value. You can go to the "Select your device to get a trade-in estimate." section of Apple Trade In - Apple to find out.
