I am locked out of my phone

I attempted to enter security code several times but now I locked myself out. I don't want to erase iPhone.

You will need to restore the device using a computer. The process will erase the device. Later you can restore your data from a recent back-up. Instructions here…

If you are totally locked out, meaning that there are no messages telling you to wait 15 minutes and try again, etc., then you must erase and reset the phone. Sorry, no other options are available.


If you have a current backup of the phone, you can use that to restore the device, so it will look just like it did at the time of the backup.
