Cannot send email, smtp settings issue.

I cannot send emails from MacMail due to SMTP settings error.

First verify with your mail provider there is not a temporary issue with the SMTP server—this is out of your control.

if this is an @iCloud account — i see no server issues

Try back later, server issue are typically resolved in short order.

If it is on your side—use the Connection Doctor>Show Details, make changes and ty again
