iCloud+ showing ''not using'' for a family member under family sharing

I paid for the 2TB iCloud storage plan so that we would never have to see the “cloud storage full” message. However, although a family member has subscribed the shared iCloud storage plan, it shows that she is the “not using” the icloud+ storage. How do I resolve this?

Being able to share iCloud storage with iCloud+ is a great feature. It looks as though your family member has been added to Family Sharing and shows the plan has been shared successfully. Although your family member received this email, what do they see on their device when going in to Settings > [their name] > iCloud. Do they see the shared storage reflected in the graph? If so, then it is showing as being shared successfully.


If they're not seeing the shared storage on their devices, you'll want to reach out to Apple next. You can find their contact details via the link below.
