Got the wrong pencil

Along with other accessories, Apple Pencil’s have are not accepted through Apple’s trade-in programme. Pencils purchased in error directly from Apple can be returned for refund or exchange within 14-days. Beyond 14-days, unless defective, you’ll not be able to return an Apple Pencil.

If its been less than 14 days since you bought it and you bought directly from Apple or an Apple reseller, you can return it for a full refund and buy the correct model.
