Travel. I would like an iPhone 14 pro, but need to be able to use physical SIM cards in places like Malawi, where T-Mobile isn’t supported and China where a local number requires a SIM card. How do I buy a 14 pro that uses SIM cards or even better, dual SIM cards. It’s kind of rude to have a US phone number in many countries.

As Niel states: Models with a Nano SIM slot are sold outside the US, this includes Canada, UK, etc.
You get one originally sold in a country other than the USA.

Bottom line......If you purchase the iPhone 14 in the U.S. it will not have a SIM card slot.
Thanks, but I don’t think that helps. If I fly into Malawi, which I do to train firefighters, there are a couple booths that sell SIM cards. I buy one, have a local number and internet. If I can’t accept a card, as the 14’s can’t, I’m kind of screwed.
That would be China. I’ve bought phones there before and it causes a whole set of other problems.
