Open the Health App.

At the bottom, click on "Browse."

Tap on "Activity"

Tap on "Workouts"

At the top right tap on "Add Data."

To add a Stand Minute, select "Other" as the Activity Type.

Now in the minutes below, make the time difference between start and finish is just one minute, make sure you haven't changed the date.

Once done, click "Add"

That minute of workout will now count as a Stand Minute in the blue ring.

I stood for several hours yesterday while cleaning, preparing and cooking a box-load of garden vegetables and herbs - fo example, 24 cups of of basil leaves from plant to pesto. Because it is a small kitchen, I wasn’t walking a great deal. My watch gave me no calories for all those hours of standing because I wasn’t walking any distance and no credit for standing because I wasn’t moving from sitting to standing repeatedly. It made me think that people who do jobs that require standing but not walking get no credit for that on their watch’s activity monitor.

Thanks!
