What is you model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support

What is your model remote? Identify your Apple TV remote - Apple Support

In emergencies, the Apple TV box will also start up, by disconnecting from power and then reconnecting. That wouldn’t involve any remote. Restart Apple TV - Apple Support (2nd bullet point)
