That said, think about the fact the numbers are black in a white battery indicator. Should the indicator decline in scope as the battery depletes, how would you be able to actually see black numbers on a black background? You wouldn't, which is likely why the indicator doesn't decrease as the battery decreases when showing the percentage in the meter.

Go to settings/battery/battery percentage and turn on.
