The iPad 8th generation has a Lightning connector -- see: iPad (8th generation) - Technical specifications

If you want to charge it with a USB-C power adapter you would need a Lightning to USB-C cable such as Buy USB-C to Lightning Cable (2 m) - Apple

If you want to charge it with a USB power adapter you would need a Lightning to USB cable such as Lightning to USB Cable (2 m) - Apple
