Bose 700 Connection

Good morning. I am not able to connect my MacBook Pro 16 to my Bose 700 headphones. I am running MacOS Monterey version 12.6. I am able to see the Bose 700 in the Bluetooth device section but even after checking on it the sound does not play through the Bose 700s.

Any words of wisdom?

did you try 'remove' the device and try to add it back?
