I don’t get the fitness+ option at the bottom of the screen in the fitness app. I’m in australia and I want to subscribe to fitness+. Please help

Apple Fitness+ is available in the Fitness app for the following iPhone models that have been 👉 updated to the latest iOS:
You will not see Fitness+ on your device if you do not have an Apple Watch Series 3 or later.

Available later this fall, all iPhone owners using iPhone 8 or later with iOS 16.1 or later will be able to subscribe to Apple Fitness+ without a paired Apple Watch. IOS 16.1 is not released yet therefore you will not be able to use Fitness+ without an Apple Watch at this time. Once iOS 16.1 is released, this fall, then you can update your iPhone and you will be able to use Fitness+ without an Apple Watch.
