my phone was stolen and the locator was turned off, I could not enter my apple id in any way. How to put it in steal mode?

My iPhone 13 got stolen 3 months ago my phone got stolen, the thief immediately closed it, so it appears as offline on FindMy. After it got stolen, locked it using icloud but it appered as offline and would lock after its connected to the internet. You can go to Find My, select the device and click Lost Mode.

Have you tried using iCloud.com/Find My Phone?

Find My Phone - Lock and track your device using Lost Mode. *
