I cannot remove duck duck go from the search engine options; it has replaced the Safari Search Engine Option I had. I hate it! Please Help Remove From IPhone! There should be an option to remove it!
I do not recall having any options other than those in your screenshot. The choices are incorporated in iOS and are unalterable.

That's how it's always been. The options on that screen have been there since you set up your iPhone, irrespective of which apps you downloaded. For example, see mine below. Note that all the options you have (including DuckDuckGo) are there.
As such, it cannot be removed. It's part of iOS.

I suspect something else is going on. Is there something wrong with the way your iPhone is working? The appearance of a search engine selection has no more effect on an iPhone's operation than a selection of an alert sound or anything else.

This is your default search engine, not web browser. There is no "Safari" search engine. Just as the default web browser is Safari, the default search engine is Google.
