AirTags battery level in iOS 16

AirTags battery levels disappeared in a late version of iOS 15. Is it some place in iOS 16, or has the software just been dumbed down and this functionality is lost forever?

That doesn’t sound like a good plan though. So you find out your AirTag battery is nearly flat when you don’t have your AirTag with you, when it’s attached to something that you may not get back to in a while, by which time the battery may well have died, and you’re left trying to find something with a dead AirTag on it.

I checked for you, in iOS 16 it is only displayed when the battery is almost empty in find my

Here it gave an notification 2 weeks ago, but I always forget to change that battery, and it is still not dead yet. So it is early with its empty battery notifications that's something
