Properly Giving Away a Mac:

I was gifted a used Mac Pro 5,1 and want to register it. The HDMI to DVI Adapter Cable will arrive tomorrow making it compatible with my hdtv/monitor
You may add the device to your Apple ID, simply go to "System Preferences" > "iCloud" (or "Apple ID", depending on OS version you are using), sign in with your Apple ID.
