Apple watch quit displaying temperature.

I updated to IOS 16 on my phone and watchOS 9.0. Now my watch face will not display the currently temperature. It shows the temperature range for the day, but “- -“ for the temperature. I can press “- -“ on the watch display face and the correct temperature is reported on the watch. Somehow the data is not getting from the weather app to the watch display.
