How do I debug whether a fib history is working?

I’m not sure how to know if a fib history is working. I’ve been using my new watch for over a week and it still says No Data. I know I have had some a fib during that time (using the ecg app) but I know the history doesn’t check continuously so maybe it just hasn’t detected a fib. How do I debug whether is working correctly?
