Secondary click on links = selected text?

Hi everyone! First MacBook ever...

The question: if I am searching something on Google is it normal that whenever I right click on a link to open a new tab, the whole text link become selected, highlighted in light blue in the same way it happens when double clicking on a single word?

Can I get a secondary click without highlighting links through settings? How?

Thanks!

MacBook Air, macOS 12.5

You can change the highlight color to anything you wish: Change General preferences on Mac - Apple Support
