Auto-pause off, still auto-pausing…

I remove my watch to bench press, because I wear wrist wraps. I have turned auto-pause off, but my watch still automatically pauses my workout. Is there a fix for this?

yeah if everything from the generic support page worked I wouldn’t be asking the question here. Auto pause is off, and the screen is locked, so the buttons or touchscreen aren’t getting accidentally pushed. There should be a setting to never ever stop a workout unless instructed…
