Will my Macbook Air w/ an external CD/DVR drive successfully record on and re-write CD-RWs? Also, do the RWs record/rewrite as easily as the CD-Rs?

Hi, Will my Macbook Air w/ an external CD/DVR drive successfully use CD-RWs? I've used the Air and burned CD-Rs with music without a problem but the drive has died and I'd like to try and use the CD-RWs. Are those trickier to work with than the CD-Rs? Thanks for any advice.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.6

Did I understand this correctly? Your drive died? If that is the case, it does not matter which media you try - a dead CD drive will not work. And, you need to check the specs of that drive - some do not work with CD-RWs.

If I misunderstood. please post more detailed information.
