Iphone 14 pro max heating issue

Any solution for the ones who are facing heating issues over iPhone 14 pro max near the camera bump spreading around the corners and screen heating in normal usage without even using the apps that uses gpu or drains battery.

Troubleshooting an Overheating iPhone:

Try the following:


I. Cool Down the iPhone:

For a few hours, perform the following...

  • Power Off: the iPhone for a bit
  • Unplug: any Cables
  • Place it Atop: Laptop Cooler
  • Keep it in: an open space
  • Keep it Out of: direct sunlight


II. Clear Space:

Having little empty space can heat things up. So, here is what to perform...

A. Clear Temporary Internet Files:

Clear your Temporary Internet Files(Cookies & Cache) of Safari:

Also...

B. Clean TV and Music Libraries:

Remove all unneeded files from your TV and Music Libraries. Full-Movies take up 2-4GB typically, and a bunch of those would take up a load of storage, ideally. So, if you have any movies that are not needed, then delete them.

Also...

C. Clear "Other":

  1. Clear the storages named "Other". It basically contains unnecessary files such as caches that are used for system ease of use - all of which gather over time: How to Clear "Other" in your iPhone's Storage - Use Backup - User Tips. Caches would be being used for remembrance of application use.

Return this or Get this Serviced:

This seems to be a faulty device. If it has been less than 14 days since the sate of return, then return an get your money back. If it has been my than 14 days (and less than one year), then note that this is covered under one-year, out-of-the-box, limited manufacturer's warranty. So, contact Apple Support, seeing where to go from here with a return or getting this serviced.

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there as Necessary
  • NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, calls are taking a bit linger to get through. And, that makes sense, because many are at home working out-of-the-house or are taking classes over-the-web, this they have more time on their hands to contact Apple Support. So, it might take a bit to get through to Apple Support. But, just stay on the line, and someone will be with you.
