Factory Reset iPad (locked) which is in Airplane more

My iPad is locked , unavailable and in Airplane mode. My MacBook Air is MacOS Monterey. I tried the find my iPad method , because my iPad is in Airplane mode it is not able wireless erase the iPad and factory reset.

The install iTunes method doesn't work as my Mac is on the latest MAcOS and I cannot install any iTunes in my Mac.

Any other ways ? should I just head down to apple store and ask them to factory reset my iPad

If you’re using a Mac, you will need to use Finder instead. If you can't update or restore your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support (NZ)
