Add sports activity to Health app after the fact

When I practice martial arts I can not wear my Apple Watch for safety reasons.

Is there a way to log the activity so that it is included in the overall overview in the Apple Health app?

It would be great - and more true - to be "rewarded" for the calories you really burn during this type of training.

Unfortunately, I cannot find a "+" or "add" in the Health or Fitness app.

Thanks!

In the Health App tap on the browse tab at the

bottom then tap activity and scroll down to workouts

then tap on workouts and in the the top right hand

corner of the screen it says add data, tap on that and

you can enter a new workout and when you're finished tap on add

at the top right of the screen. Then restart your phone.

Be aware though that this only effects your 3 rings on the day in question.

Why do you need to restart the phone?

Thank you! I finally found it :-) your description was great - my phone's language is in Danish, so it took me a while to find the corresponding menu and buttons.

By the way, when entering workout data in the Health app for Martial arts, one needs to specify time spent and kilocalories burnt. For the latter, you can find calculators online to help estimate kilocalories using metabolic equivalent of task (MET) for example https://captaincalculator.com/health/calorie/calories-burned-from-martial-arts-calculator/
