So now if your phone is left out anyone can come by and customize your Lock Screen which gives them access to your whole photo library. Is there a way to set the photos in private?

THANK U for clearing this up! I turned the phone away and tried to hold it down to customize and it asked for Face ID to access. Thought it was a flaw. Thx

That would require your passcode or faceid.
