No Alerts from a Samsung, recent change.

I am no longer getting alerts or notifications when texted by my wife from a newer Samsung phone. I have the most recent updates and my alert setting are good. She is even my emergency contact with breakthrough alerts.

very frustrating, this started a few days ago

Hi MikeyB71,

It seems you're having trouble with getting notifications when receiving a text from your wife and we want to help.

Is this happening with any other messages or specifically when your wife sends you an SMS?

Make sure that here conversation thread isn't inadvertently set to Hide Alerts:

Open Messages
Tap on the conversation with your wife
Tap on her contact name at the top of the conversation
Make sure Hide Alerts is turned off.
