itunes could not backup the iphone because there is not enough free space on this computer, I am getting this error but I have over 500GB space available on my Laptop. How to solve this issue?

That suggests there is potentially something going wrong with the space calculation. I assume the free space you are referring to is on your system drive, usually C:? What is the size of your iPhone?
