How do you turn Lockdown mode Off when and if the time should come?

I found these instructions online on how to turn Lockdown mode off. It’s basically the opposite of turning it on.


Turn off Lockdown Mode

  1. Head back to the Settings app in iOS 16 or System Settings on macOS Ventura
  2. Choose Privacy & Security
  3. At the bottom, tap Lockdown Mode
  4. Now tap Turn Off Lockdown Mode
  5. Tap Turn Off & Restart, enter your passcode if prompted

How to enable Lockdown Mode on iPhone

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Privacy & Security.
  3. Under Security, tap Lockdown Mode and tap Turn On Lockdown Mode.
  4. Tap Turn On Lockdown Mode.
  5. Tap Turn On & Restart, then enter your device passcode.

When Lockdown Mode is enabled, you might receive notifications when an app or feature is limited, and a banner in Safari indicates that Lockdown Mode is on.

You can turn OFF Lockdown Mode by following the steps above and choosing OFF.
