Microsoft Office Apps Verification Process After Updates

I've seen this question posted all over the place for a long time. There is a simple solution without messing with MS security. When MS Office updater updates and an app should immediately verify in the background so that when you go to use the app, it opens as quickly the 2nd time after the app has been verified. What's the big deal?

Each new version of any Office application when initially launched will trigger Apple's XProtect security scan (for about 2 - 3 seconds) because Apple only knows about the previous version. This is how all non-Mac App Store applications behave when their versions change, not just Office applications.
