Apple Car Play with iPhone 14 Max Pro

I have a 2021 Rav4. Right now I have to plug in my iPhone11 Max Pro using a USB to lightening cable to get Car Play to work. I was thinking of getting the iPhone 14 Max Pro. It comes with a USB-C to Lightening cable to charge the phone. Will the USB to Lightening cable charge the iPhone 14 Max Pro (as it does now) when I plug in into the USB port when using Car Play?
