Satellite SOS geographical coverage
I live in Alaska, north of lat 62N. Is there NO satellite SOS coverage north of pay 62N, or intermittent, or available at fewer times, maybe?

In the support document Use Emergency SOS via satellite on your iPhone 14 - Apple Support Apple comments that "Emergency SOS via satellite might not work in places above 62° latitude, such as northern parts of Canada and Alaska."
The same document says "It will also require an iOS 16 software update coming in November 2022." More details won't be known until reports about the service are posted after its launch.
