How to send large attachments in email?

You've already answered your own question. There is no way to send it via regular mail when it exceeds the size limit.

You can sue Mail Drop which lets you send up to 5 GB files. It stores the file on one of its servers, sends a download link to the recipient and it's available for 30 days for downloading.

Make sure the attached file is at least 25 MB. If it is smaller than that, create a ZIP file and add some large junk image or something to push the size past 25 MB. After 25 MB, Mail Drop will be triggered and the recipient will get a link to download the attachment.

Click the "-" button at the bottom.

Try again and if it fails go to Apple - Support - System Status and see if any of Apple's systems are down.

FWIW, there's a good reason there are size limits for email. Gmail alone has over 1.8 billion active users. It would be impractical to store large attachments on their email servers.

Try compressing it to a zip file and see if it is small enough to go.
