Apple Car Play doesn’t work in my 2020 Honda CR-V

When I first got my car, I had a iPhone 12 Pro Max and I had issues with connecting with Apple Car Play. It would work then disconnect constantly, every few mins. If I would disconnect the Apple OEM cable and reconnect it, it would sometimes come back on. Other times I’d have to push the power button down on the radio until it prompts you to reboot. Sometimes this would work, sometimes it wouldn’t. I’ve replaced the cables and the same issues occur. I’ve restarted my phone and my car and sometimes this would work, but not always. One thing to remember, is any of these fixes would work…but only for a few mins. Recently I got the new iPhone 14 Pro Max and the problem seems to be at an all time high. I don’t know what to do to fix this. Any ideas?

Follow the troubleshooting steps in this support document. If you need help with CarPlay - Apple Support especially contacting Honda to see if there are any updates or support issues with that vehicle.
