I bought iphone and got free apple tv trial, which expires in 7 Nov.


When I try it it says that I need to register my payment method


but it keeps failing


I have Singapore card (Visa) and Korean card (Master) but either of them works.


Will you let me know how to register the card?

The payment method for your Apple ID must be issued in the same country or region as your Apple ID account is set for.

If your Apple ID account is set for Singapore, then you cannot use a Korean card.

If your Apple ID account is set for South Korea, then you cannot use the Singapore card.

If your Apple ID account is set for another country, then you cannot use either card.

Subscriptions require a pre-authorized payment method that supports automatic and periodical billing.

Troubleshooting Declined Methods of Payment:

See this Link: If your Payment Method is Declined in the App Store or iTunes Store - Apple Support. Add this using a computer, as it would be more user-friendly doing so.

As you may suspect, no one here would know the answer to this. So, contact Apple Support. The'll see what has occurred, and will run you through the fix.   • Proceed from there as Necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due do lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

B. Contact your Bank:

  • Contact your financial institution (bank) pertaining to this card, as this may be being seen as a scam (though that may not be the case). It would be a matter of security for you as a credit card holder. So, call them, letting them know that all os okay to be followed through with.
