I deleted text messages 2 months ago. I find I need them back for an investigation.
I backup my phone to iCloud all the time.
How to I access text message that are over 2 months old that were deleted? I have the contact information to help in retrieval.

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you. Depending on your set up, you may not be able to retrieve the messages.
Do you have Messages enabled in Settings > your name > iCloud? If so, then messages aren't included in a backup and won't be able to be recovered. Use Messages in iCloud
If you aren't using Messages in iCloud, you could restore a backup to your device that occurred before the messages were deleted. Keep in mind that any data obtained after that back up date, will be removed from your device. So, given the timeframe you stated, you'll lose about 2 month's worth of new data.
