I use my AppleTV a LOT. If I turn on 2FA, will I have to enter a code every time I do simple things like watching a movie (or TV show), listening to music, viewing a photo, or launching an app?
Because if it's going to bother me that much, I think I'd rather not bother.

Nope. I cannot recall ever being asked for general use. Perhaps if you're purchasing content through the Apple TV you'll get a code to confirm.
