Watch activity data has disappeared

Hi,

I’ve been wearing my watch and closing my rings every day for over 2 years now. I noticed that I stopped getting the longest move streak notification. When I checked my activity rings one day was completely empty and another only had a fraction of each ring completed. But I can still see that I received the longest move streak on both of these days. I have tried to manually enter data through the Health app, but it hasn’t made any difference. The only thing that I’ve changed recently is upgraded to the iPhone 14 pro max. Please help because it’s very frustrating!!!

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
