Sorry, this is not possible.

iOS 12.5.6 is as far as the iPhone 6 can go. You have reached the end of the road for updates with iOS 12.5.6. That is why you see the message that your iPhone 6 is up to date.

iOS 14 is no longer available, but if you have an iPhone 7, you can install updates up to iOS 15.7.1 An iPhone 8 or higher is required if you want to run iOS 16.x
