Unable to accept iCloud Terms and Conditions in macOS Ventura

After upgrading to Ventura, I was prompted with a notification stating that I must accept the "New iCloud Terms and Conditions" and that "to use iCloud on this Mac you must accept the new Terms and Conditions." However, the notification remains in the setting after I have accepted the T & C. I occasionally receive notification to accept the terms and conditions. I found a similar issue Catalina on the forum but couldn't find a solution that fix this issue.

Anyone know how to remedy this issue? Thanks

Hello everybody.

I have the same problem here.

On System Settings, I always see the red badge with 1 message, I open System Settings, I go to iCloud Terms and Conditions, I check the checkbox and I accept the terms, but still not working.

If I repeat the task, I get an error (alert) for a few seconds on my screen. I captured it with screen recording. The message says: "Unable to activate iCloud due to a server error". I tried out everything with no success.

Tips from @ASTRO24 don't. work for me.

Any idea?

Hi cyruslwc,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand that you're getting notifications for terms and conditions after you have accepted them. If you have not done so already, restart your computer. Restarting your computer restarts processes.

If you have any security software or a VPN connected, disconnect and disable it and try to accept the terms and conditions.

Enter safe mode and try to accept them. Safe mode limits start up programs while running a health check.

How to use safe mode on your Mac

Regards.
