To watch Paramount+ in the Apple TV app, that needs a subscription as started in the Apple TV app. Subscriptions started outside the Apple TV app are unfortunately not valid for the Apple TV app Channels. Instead, those ‘outside’ subscriptions need the separate Paramount+ app.
